Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream

I recently won the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream on a facebook competition, and decided to share my thoughts on this product!

Application:
This BB cream has a gel-based formula, which gave it a runny consistency - almost as runny as liquid foundation. It was very easy to apply with fingers, but when I tried applying with a foundation brush, it left streaks. I would recommend applying with fingers or a stippling brush, as you really need to rub and blend in the product!

Coverage:
The coverage of this was quite sheer, and wasn't very good at hiding imperfections or pimples (unlike the Asian BB creams!). However, it did do a very good job of evening out the skintone, and gives a very natural finish. I didn't find it to be as moisturising as I hoped - it seemed to cake up around my dry patches (currently the eye brow area for me right now!) if I applied too much.

Longevity:
This BB cream lasted maybe 3-4 hours for me. I found that it faded off evenly, so it didn't look too bad, but I would have liked for it to last longer. I don't usually apply primers when I use BB creams though, so that may have contributed a little bit.

Overall:
As a tinted moisturiser, this product is quite nice to use. To be honest, I would not repurchase this product as I found it to be lacking as a BB cream, and at the price (approx. $15 from memory), there are better drugstore BB creams out there.

May Bellabox

My May Bellabox arrived today! Lets have a look at what I received:

Lonvitalite C4 Coconut Milk Hydrating & Nourishing Facial Mask
I love face masks, but don't like coconut so this product poses a bit of a dilemma for me! I like the previous masks we got from Lonvitalite in BB, so I might jsut give this a try (depending on how strong the scent is!)

Suigo Vital Nutrition Intensive Hair Repair Treatment
Yay for hair treatments! This came at the perfect time, as the Goldwell hair treatment I've been using (from LHI) has probably one use left!

Bloom Shadow Liner - Charcoal Grey
Whilst I'm glad I didn't receive the green colour (I have one already), I had really hoped to receive the lip product! I have since updated my beauty profile, so hopefully next time I receive lip products!

Manicare Duo Mascara Brushes
These will be sooo handy! I always lose my mascara brushes, and it'll be good to have some on hand! I actually use these more to do my brows :P

Ahava Time To Treat Comforting Cream
This cream is meant for sensitive skin ( + 1 point to BB) and so I will most likely keep this in my car/work desk, as I always wish I have moisturiser with me when I am out and about!

La Rouche-Posay Effaclar Duo and Foaming Gel
The Effaclar Duo really intrigues me! This cream claims to hydrate whilst removing excess oils and blockages, and is meant to unclog sebum-blocked pores! Very interesting to see just how well it works!

Nanoblur
This was a bonus sample, and I'm actually quite happy to receive this! I've put some nanoblur on my hand whilst in priceline, but was never game enough to try it on my face! Now I can do that in the comfort of my own home :P

Overall, I am quite content with this box. A bit too much skincare for my liking, but interesting products to try, which is always a plus! I've noticed that this month seems to have a lot of variation...I'm curious to see what everyone else got! :)

Adding to my collection - BARGAIN ALERT :P

UPDATE: Now the proud owner of the entire glitterati collection! Yay to Chadstone k-mart :P
Don't they all look so pretty all lined up?!

I couldn't resist anymore and decided to pick up Studio 54 from FOA's glitterati range from Priceline! While I was shopping, I was walking through K-mart, and they have $4 off all FOA products! This meant that the glitterati range was only SEVENTY-FIVE CENTS!! There were only a few nail polishes left, and I already had those ones, so I picked up Funky Town. I really wanted dancing queen but that was sold out so I will check other K-mart stores for the rest of the week :P

If you wanted to try the glitterati range, now is your chance, because its cheaper than a soft serve with flake!!! :P

Pharmore Beauty Bag

Just wanted to share something I stumbled upon today...Pharmore pharmacy is doing a beauty bag (worth over $220 according to the posters) for $15 if you buy 2 beauty items. I was actually just getting some cold and flu tablets and when I saw that I couldn't resist. Since I didn't need anything, I bought a cheap polish by Satin (Never heard of it, hope its good!) as well as a lipstick by Satin to be eligible to get this bag!
It came in a wicked sista bag that was priced at $19.99. Seems like a sturdy bag - there was a silver one and this purple/brown coloured bag which I preferred.

All the Goodies! The tanning product didn't excite me, but theres a few things there that I'm icthing to try, such as the Dr Lewinns Bio-care oil. I have a lot of scars from eczema that I would LOVE to get rid of :)
It's quite a similar concept to the Priceline bags, but I like that you can purchase this bag (as opposed to finding $60 dollars of things to buy). I think it might be a mothers day promo, as the items seem very motherish, and I will definitely be sharing a lot of these products with my mum! What do you think of the bag?
