Pinch Me

Hi!
Just wanted to share this awesome website that I found out about recently - was actually meant to share this earlier but I completely forgot. Its a website called PINCHme, which has a great concept. You basically sign up, and you choose samples that you want to try and all they want is a short survey (I'm talking about like 4 multiple choice questions) for you to complete after you have tried it! I finally received my samples today (I was lucky enough to receive two) and I was very surprised at the size of the samples. They weren't sachets, but actually very generous samples!
The two samples I received

This sample of soap was 100g and packaged very nicely - seems almost like its a full size item

The only downfall of this site is that you have to be quick in claiming samples! Some of the nice samples (there was a sample of mascara that I wish I got!) run out really quickly, but others are still available. They release new samples everyday  and post about it on fb as well as shooting you an email, and the sample for today, which is coffee, is still available.

You receive points for every sample you get, everytime you give feedback, and other things (such as likes of their fb page), and once you hit a certain amount of points, you are entitled to one sample per day!

If you wanted to check it out, or sign up, you can use this link here (which would give me referral points and link you directly to the available sample). Alternatively, you could just check them out at http://pinchme.com.au

Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick

I went out shopping today, and set myself a budget for the day - unfortunately, I went into Priceline (already exceeding my budget) and saw this stand! It's supposedly a new range of lipsticks by Bourjois - I know its new because all the testers were untouched (yay!!).

To be honest, I have never tried anything from Bourjois before, and I was looking for nothing in particular, I was actually looking for lipstick for a friend when I saw this range. The two colours I was particularly drawn to was 03 and 04 (swatched below). 03 was a nude, tangerine colour and 04 was a nice dusty pink that reminded me a lot of the Essence All About Cupcake. After a lot of umming and ahhing, I went for 03 since I don't own any colours like that!

The formula is very very nice - very smooth, pigmented and feels super moisturising! I'm so excited to try this out :)
Colour 04 on top and 03 below

The lipstick cost $19, which was a bit steep for my liking, but I liked it so much that I went for it. What gave me the incentive to really go for it was that you get a GWP if you spend $15 on Bourjois! I received a full sized mascara (RRP$19.95) and a pair of sunnies in a cute, pale pink pouch.

If you go to priceline, check out this range and let me know what you think about it! :)

NOTD

Just a quick NOTD post - ever since I started working, I haven't had the chance to do my nails - and theres no point either since it'll just get chipped and ruined, so since it was aweekend I tried to do a girly nude nail look with glitter tips, just because :P
YAY for glitter?
eek need to clean up the edges a bit >.<

Polish used:
Mirenesse Bullet Proof Nail Lacquer - Forever Pearls
Prorance Silver Glitter Striper (purchased from Asian Beauty Boutique)

LHI March

I received my March LHI today (very early, so I was impressed!) and I'm glad I made the decision to stick with LHI. I recently cleaned out my room (properly!) and realised that I was accumulating a lot of products from all my subscription boxes. LHI have recently announced a price increase, and I am tempted to get an annual subscription - I will see how April is before I make that decision though! Now onto the contents of the box!

Bioelixia BodyShaper Cellulite Contour Creme ($59)
This was the first thing I reached for as it was the biggest item in the box! It is worth four times what I paid for this entire box so $$ wise, I am very impressed. I'm not quite sure if I should use this creme, or give it to someone who might need it more than I since I like to believe that I have little cellulite :P

 Alash ($10.95)
Another full size product! There was a selection of 4 different types of lashes, but since my box wasn't labelled I'm not sure what I received! I am super excited to try this out as I love the idea of false lashes, but since I am terrible at application, I have never really bought a nice pair before. This is made with 100% human hair (which I find a tad creepy) which is meant to make it look really natural. I think I will practice applying lashes with my el cheapo MUA ones, and save this one for when I become a pro!

The Natural Source Camouflage Colour Crayons ($9.99)
I got not one, but TWO colour crayons! I got colour 021 (Metal Green) and 037 (Purple Plum)! The green will be great for lining eyes, and I'm curious to see how the purple plum will show up on the lips - I'm a huge fan of the vampy lip, but too scared to wear it out in public yet :P

Goldwell Dualsenses Rich Repair ($20.99 for 200mL)
This was a generous sample size (50mL), and I love hair products, especially hair masks! This mask has a very pleasant smell to it as well, and I'm so excited to try it out (but it will probably have to wait for the weekend)!

I also received a sample of Keratase which was meant to be included in last months LHI

Ocean Essence Strawberry Rose Rubber Mask ($4.95)
If there is one beauty product I love more than anything - its face masks! I've tried a whole range of different ones, and I have a box of them so that I can pamper myself at any given time. I love any mask that smells delicious (like this one does) and its one of those masks that you peel off, which is less messy, and much more fun!

I also received a cute lollipop - and look - my nails match the box! :P

Overall I must say I am impressed with this months LHI. I got FIVE full size products out of 6, and I really can't complain about that! Although the cellulite creme is not suitable for me, I appreciate that its a sample box, and LHI really outdid itself this month in providing great products (most of which I haven't heard of/ would not usually buy) so I extremely happy with this :)

Her Fashion Box

YAY look what arrived in the mail! I was super excited to get this box, and I was torn between choosing the Classic and the Feminine box! I ended up going with the Classic box, and I love it! :)

I received Maybelline High Shine Lip Gloss in Gleaming Grenadine, and a concealer brush from Master Makeup.

A selection of samples from Redken (and they are quite generously sized samples too yay!) and a gorgeous smelling soap from Circa Home.
I think the most exciting items were the accessories. I like this necklace a lot, especially since I am beginning to love statement gold necklaces, but if I were to be completely honest, I think the necklace form the feminine box would suit me better. Also got a funky hair tie with a gold band so that I can have a gold band around my ponytails!

B by Bloom Mineral Tool Kit

A quick post to show off what I think is an amazing bargain that I got today!
Image taken from Bloom website because my phone is crap at taking pics at night :P

I was walking around Target today with the intention of buying space bags and then leaving, but ended up looking through the beauty section (surprise, surprise). I wasn't really looking for anything in particular, but found a little Bloom mineral tool kit in the clearance section. Bloom was actually discontinued at Target sometime last year, and I took that opportunity to stock up on Bloom products :P Naturally, I took it to the price check and to my surprise I found the kit to be a mere $5! I just looked up the kit online and it's $39.95!

The Dual Mineral Brush is designed for powder foundation and concealer! The foundation brush is very dense and fluffy, and I just love fluffy brushes! It actually retails for $19.95! The Bloom Primer I've actually purchased before, and I quite like it. It has a very light texture (which I found similar to the FOA primer) and feels very hydrating. Alone, it retails for $29.95 which in my opinion is a bit steep, considering you can get much better primers for that price, if not less!

Nonetheless, I cannot get over the price of $5 for those two items! There were 2 of these kits left, and they also had very cute nail polish trios for $5, one trio was a collection of bright neons (pink, coral and green) and another set had what I would describe as colours from a smoky eye palette (Deep purple, very pale pink and a silver glitter) which I would have also purchased but I think I already have those colours :P I would definitely recommend a quick look at your local Target if you like Bloom products :)

Clinique Gift Time!

Hi everyone - ugh I've still been very bad with my blogging haha
Anyways...Myer was doing the Clinique GWP this week (spend $60 and get a make up bag of deluxe samples), and I wasn't planning on buying anything, but then I realised I want need more moisturiser so perfect timing :P

I decided to go with a different moisturiser this time around. I recently purchased step 1 and 2 of the 3 step Clinique skincare range, but opted out of buying step 3, the moisturiser, because I didn't like the heavy creamy texture. However, the lady at the Clinique bar showed me that there was a moisturizing gel, which has a very similar texture to the Clinique Moisture Surge which I absolutely love, so I caved and got the moisturizing gel! As you can see from the image above, its a very lightweight texture that feels amazing - I can't wait to start using it with the face wash and toner. I don't know why, but I have always liked using an entire skincare range, as opposed to using products from different ranges and brands!

Now onto the GWP :) There were six deluxe samples with this GWP, and I was excited to see that half the products were makeup! YAY :)

Youth Surge Night and Day cream
I'm very excited to try out the Night cream, as I don't currently use any night creams. I've used the day cream before, but wasn't too fond of the texture or smell :( It's great that it has SPF though, so I usually keep it in my beach bag.

Take The Day Off Makeup Remover
YAY I love this product! Its very very similar to the Bioderma cleansing water, but as it is catered especially for eye-makeup, I find that it removes my stubborn waterproof mascara off better!

High Impact Mascara
They seem to always include this mascara in the GWP, but I don't mind because I love it! It is the perfect handbag sized mascara - and fits in my tiny clutches too! Only downside is that it's not waterproof

Chubby Stick in Mega Melon
I was super duper excited to receive a chubby stick in the GWP! I was always envious of the GWP in USA because they always included chubby sticks and now we finally have it! I already own a few chubby sticks, but luckily I haven't got Mega Melon - in the image below I compared the size of the sample to the original sized chubby stick, and I must admit I am impressed with the size. The sample is only approximately 2cm shorter than the original sized chubby sticks, and the only difference in the packaging is that it has a clear lid (the original has a silver lid). I am so happy with this because I've always liked Mega Melon!
 Quickliner For Eyes Intense
YAY another product I was stoked to receive! Check out the image below of my original sized eyeliner compared to the sample! They are basically the same size, the only difference is that the original sized eyeliner has the smudging tool! I love this eyeliner so much, it has a great formula and good pigmentation! I purchased the intense plum eyeliner, so I'm so glad I got the black eyeliner with the GWP!
